A day out at Camden Market....

I completed a five day Reportage Photography summer course at Central Saint Martins, The University of the Arts, London. 

The course tutor was the brilliant, Giulio Mazzarini. The time spent I spent with him at CSM really changed my approach to photography!

We spent a day trying to capture the vibrant atmosphere of Camden, London.

Baroness Thatcher's Funeral

On the 17th April, 2013, I travelled to London where the funeral of Baroness Thatcher was taking place.

Knowing there would be many mixed emotions on the day, I felt it was an important event that I knew I wanted to photograph. 

As the funeral procession passed, there was both ripple's of applause and derogatory shouts.

It was a charged atmosphere which conveyed both support and animosity.

Birmingham Half Marathon

The Birmingham half marathon is an event that I've always wanted to take part in.. Maybe next year!?

I wanted to create a set of creative images that were more than just 'people running' I found this quite challenging! 

I really enjoyed being at the event, supporting the runners as they past. I have huge respect for peoples commitment in undertaking events like these.

Sophie

Sophie and I went into the studio to take some shots for her fitness modelling portfolio. I used light and shadow creatively to define Sophie's body and muscle tone.
